Logo Les Muses

Ahmed Chami is the official percussionist of Les Muses. In addition to his music lessons at Les Muses he is also studying rhythm with musician Abdoul Wanis, with whom Ahmed can experiment various percussion instruments. As a musician and storyteller, Ahmed goes from school to school to heighten the awareness of children toward disabled people, thanks to a project initiated by l'Association montréalaise de la déficience intellectuelle along with the storyteller Évelyne Ménard. As an impossible to miss member of the advanced students in music and singing, he also did an outstanding performance in 2006 at the Château Dufresne during the Action main-d'œuvre 30th anniversary and at the Société des arts technologiques for an event organized by the PHAS movement. He also participated in the recording of the album ChOEUR de la pointe directed by author-composer Hélène-Élise Blais.

Les Muses: centre des arts de la scène is a unique school offering a professionnal-level training in the arts of the stage for artists experiencing various disabilities in their everyday life.     Contact
